In this song, Annamaiah describes the beauty and qualities of God Venkateswara. He says that He dispelled the arrogance of demons, recovered Vedas from the sea, and that his good qualities are countless.

Annamaiah sings this song in Vyragya bhavam (asceticism). He says that all activities, attachments are delusion, and warns that the consequences of sins will not leave us and that only faith in Venkatesa and struggle for salvation are helpful.

Annamacharya tells us that all the worldly pleasures or problems are our delusion. He asks us to seek Sri Venkateswara's grace, which is permanent.
