In this song Annamaiah preaches that the moon light, the Sunlight and the air are available to all equally .He prays to Venkateswara to treat him impartially and protect.

P neevu sarva samuDavu neevu dEva dEvuDavu
eevala nA guNa dOshAlencha nika nElA ||
You are impartial. You are the Lord of all Gods. Why do you find fault with me?
C 1 poovula pai gAsee bori munDlapai gAseenee
Avala vennela kEmi hAni vachcheenA
pAvanula naTu gAchi pApa punjamaina nannu
gAvaga nee krupakunu gaDamayyeenA ||
The moonlight shines on flowers and bushes equally. Is there any harm to the moonlight ? You protect the pious people. Is it a burden for you to protect a sinner like me?

Pavanapu gAliki pApamanTunA
dEvatala rakshinchi deenuDa naina nAku
dOva joopi rakshinchitE dOsha mayyeenA||
The wind blows on a cow and also on a dog. Is the wind touched by sin? You protect the Devatas. Do you get blemished if you shower mercy on a distressed one like me?
C 3 kulajuni inTa nunDi kulaheenuninTa nunDee
ilalO enDaku Emi heena mayyeena
valasi Sree venkTAdri varamulu ichi nAlO
nilichi varamulichi nEDu gAvavE ||
The Sun shines equally on the houses, irrespective of their high or low status. Does the Sunlight lose its value? Oh Venkatesa, Why don't you protect me granting boons ?

nigama nigamAnta - hindOLa

In this touching song Annamaiah finds fault with his lord saying that he is pushed into the mire of worldly entanglements due to the Maya of the Almighty.

Oh Narayana,the Vedas and the Vedic philosophy extole your fascinating form.You lifted the Govardhana mountain.

paipaine sansAra bandhamula gaTTEvu
nA paluku chellunA nArAyaNa ||
You are reluctant to bestow me with the happiness of renunciation. You are binding me in the worldly bonds. Oh Narayana,will my appeals ever reach you?
C 2 cheekAku paDina nA chtta SAntamu sEya
lEkanA neevu bahu leela nannu
kAku sEsedavu bahu karmamula baDu vAru
nA koladi varAla nArayaNa ||
When I lost peace of mind due to disgust, You are confusing me with your leelas(sports). Are others entangled in various karmas comparable to me?
C 3 vividha nirbandhamula veDala drOyaka nannu
bhava sAgaramula taDa baDa jEtuvA
divijEndra vandya sree tiru venkaTAdreeSa
nava neeta chora Sree nArAyaNa ||
Instead of pulling me out of the entanglements, You are confusing me. Oh Sree Venkateswara,Oh Narayana the butter thief, You are adored by Indra the king of Devatas.

namO namO raghukula - nATa

In this song Annamacharya prays to Lord Rama narrating his great deeds of punishing the wicked and protecting the pious.

P namO namO raghu kula nAyaka divija vandya
namO namO Sankara nagaja nuta ||
Salutations to the hero of the Raghu dynasty who is bowed to by Devatas. Salutations to Rama who is worshipped by Parvati and Parameswara.
C 1 vihita dharma pAlaka veera daSaradha rAma
gagana vAsinee tATaka mardana
ahalya SApa mOchana asura kula bhanjana
sahaja viswAmitra savana rakshaka ||
He is the protector of Dharma and is the heroic son of Dasaradha. He is the destroyer of the demoness Tataki who lived in the sky. He dispelled Ahalya's curse. He annihilated demons' race. He is the protector of Viswamitra's Yajnam. Salutations to Him.
C 2 hara kOdanDa hara sitAnganA vallabha
khara dooshanAri vAli garvApaha
taraNi tanoojAdi taru chara pAlaka
Saradhi langhana kruta soumitri samEta ||
He lifted Siva"s bow and became the lord of Sita. He is the enemy of Khara and Dooshana. He dispelled the pride of Vali and protected Sugriva the king of monkeys. He built the bridge across the sea along with his brother Lakshmana.
C 3 biruda rAvaNa SirO bhEdaka vibhishaNa
varada sAkEta pura vAsa rAghava
nirupama Sri venkaTa nilaya nija nagara
pura vihAra punDarikAksha ||
He earned eternal fame by destroying Ravana and blessed Vibhishana. He lived in Saketapuram and is unparallelled. He dwells in all splendour at the abode of the lotus eyed Venkatapati. Salutatios to Him again and again.

nArAyaNAchyuta - gowLa

In this song Annamaiah preaches that none can be wise without the grace of God. He illustrates it saying that wicked Duryodhana or arrogant Hiranyakasipa could not recognise the presence of divinity even when God Himself appeared before them.

nEra rAdu vijnAnamu nee viyyaka lEdu ||
Oh Narayana,Oh Achyuta,Oh infinite lord, Oh Govinda, none can be wise unless your grace is there.
C 1 nigamAnta vidulaitE ninneruguduru gAka
mruga samAnula kEla meemeedi bhakti
vegaTuga krupa tODa viswaroopu choopinAvu
pagaTu duryOdhanuDu bahu rupamanaDA ||
The scholars well versed in Vedas may know you. How can those equal to animals have devotion for you? You mercifully showed Viswarupam (appearence of God as the embodiment of universe) to Arjuna. Did not Duryodhana say that it was a gimmic?
C 2 chira puNyulaitE mee sEvalu sEturu gAka
durita chittulaku mee trOva ETiki
garima pratyakshamai kambamu lO galigina
hiraNyakaSipuDu mimmenchi SaraNanenA ||
The pious devotees may worship you. Do the wicked seek your path? When you have emerged from a pillar in all greatness, did the demon Hiranyakasipa repent and surreneder to you?
C 3 dEvatalaitE mimmu teliya nErturu gAka
eevala nasuralu mimmerigirA
Sri venkaTAdri meeda siri tO neevunDa gAnu
kEvala samsAru lerigiyunu maravarA ||
Devatas may be capable of knowing you. Did the demons understand you? You are dwelling at Venkatadri with your consort Lakshmi. Are not those immersed in their family life, knowingly forget you?

nanda nandana - abhEri

In this song Annamaiah describes various deeds and beauty of Krishna. He adds that he is skillful in dispelling worldly bonds.

P nanda nandana vENu nAda vinOdamu
kunda kunda dantahAsa gOvardhana dhAra ||
He is the dear child of Nanda.He is delighted by the music of his flute. His laughter is charming. His teeth are like jasmine buds. He lifted the Govardhana Mountain.
C 1 rAma rAma gOvinda ravi chandra lOchana
kAma kAma kalusha vikAra vidura
dhAma dhAma vibhavat pratAparupa danuja ni
rdhooma dhAma karaNa chatura bhAva bhanjana ||
The Sun and the Moon are his eyes. He is devoid of unpious abberations. He showed his valor at different places in destroying the demons. He is skillful in alleviating the worldly bonds.
C 2 kamala kamala vAsA kamala ramaNa dEvO
ttama tamOguNa satata vidura
pramadat pramadAnubhava bhAva karaNa
sumuka sudhAnanda Subha ranjana ||
Lakshmi that stays on lotus is his consort. He is the best God. He keeps the indolent at a distance. He is the cause of blissful experience in every Gopika. His countenance is pleasant and he showers nectar of happiness. He is very auspicious.

varada varadAmala vAsudEva
chira chira ghanAnaga SrivenkaTEswara
narahari nAma pannaga SayanA ||
He is the supreme lord and the bestower of boons. He is Vasudeva with Lakshmi by his side. He is Narasimha. He reclines on Adi Sesha. The ancient mountain is Sri Venkateswra's abode.
