rAmuDu rAghavuDu - kAnada

P rAmuDu rAghavuDu ravi kulu DitaDu bhoomijaku pati yayaina purusha nidhAnamu || Rama or Raghava is the wealth of mankind, born in the Sun dynasty. He became the husband of Sita the daughter of the earth.
C 1 araya putra kAmEshTi yandu paramAnnamuna
paraga janinchina para brahmamu
surula rakshimpaga nasurula Sikshimpaga
tiramai udayinchina divya tEjamu ||
He is the supreme spirit born from payasam (porridge) drank after the great sacrifice performed by Dasaratha for children. He is the divine effulgence dawned to destroy demons to save devatas.
C 2 chintinchE yOgeendrula chitta sarOjamulalO
satatamu nilichina sAkAramu
vintalugA munu lella vedakinayaTTi
kAntula chennu meerina kaivalya padamu ||
He is the spiritual form that great sages kept in their lotus like conscience. It is the effulgence that great hermits search and see. It is the most beautiful and the ultimate kyvalyam (emancipation).
C 3 vEda vEdAntamula yandu vijnAna Sastramulandu
pAdukona palikETi paramArthamu
pOditO Sree vEnkatAdri bonchi vijaya nagarAna
Adiki nanAdi yaina archAvatAramu ||
He is the root and essence of the Vedas, philosophy and science. Rama incarnated himself as Venkatesa. He has neither begining nor end, and he is the most worshipped deity.

rAma chandru DitaDu-dwijAwanti-Adi

P rAmachandru DitaDu raghu veeruDu kAmita phalamu liyya galige nindariki || Here is Ramachandra the hero of Raghu dynasty. He is capable of fulfilling our wishes.
C 1 goutamu bhArya pAliTi kAmadhEnu vitaDu ghAtala kouSiku pAli kalpa Vrukshamu sitA dEvi pAliTi chintAmaNi itaDu eetaDu dAsulapAli iha para daivamu || He is like Kamadhenu the celestial cow for Ahalya the wife of sage Gowtama. He is like wish-fulfilling tree to Viswamitra to destroy demons. He is like Chintamani the divine gem for Sita. He is God to devotees in both worlds.
C 2 paraga Sugreevu pAli parama bandhu DitaDu sari hanumantu pAli sAmrAjyamu nirati vibhishNuni pAli nidhAnamu eetaDu garima Janaku pAli ghana pArijAtamu || He stood by Sugriva as the most reliable friend. He is a kingdom for Hanuman. He is the treasure trove for Vibhishana. He is like the divine Parijata tree to Janaka.
C 3 talapa Sabari pAli tatvapu rahasyamu alari guhuni pAli Adi moolamu kalaDanna vAri pAli kannu leduTi mooriti velaya Sree venkaTAdri vibhudeetaDu || His gesture to Sabari shows the secret of his philosophy. He is the primeval for Guha the boatman. He is in front of true believers. He shines at Venkatadri.
