kammani nEtulu kAgaga chelage ||
Aroma from boiling ghee is pleasant.The milkmaids are singing melodiously.

They praise him as the lotus-eyed blue boy. They are singing while milking cows and churning curds in pots.

nanda vrajamuna nalugaDa nAvula
mandala pEyala manchi ravamula ||
The beautiful maids of Nandi village describe him as the bearer of Mandara mountain. They call him 'Madhava, Govinda'. There are cows around with their calves mooing sweetly.

Bring milk for this beautiful smiling child. He is the father of Brahma. Bring milk for the blue boy who dwells in Vedas, for the lord of Indira who rules the universe, for the great one among the trinity, for Brahma,Vishnu,Maheswara and for the sweet child Murari that destroyed the demon Mura.
