maruguruni meeda manasunDa valadA ||
Should not the intellectuals and devotees Keep Lord Vishnu, the father of Manmadha, in their minds?
C 1 Akaligonna vAniki annamupai nunna
Tlu yEkaTa nunDa valadA eeSwaruni paini
kAkala viTula choopu kAntalapai nunnaTlu
tEkuva nunDa valadA dEvuni meeda ||
A hungry person craves for food only. Should he not love God in the same manner? A romantic person's looks are on women only. Should he not possess such interest in God?
C 2 pasi biDDalaku nAsa pAlachanTi pai nunnaTlu
kosari bhakti valadA gOvindu paini
vesa teruvari tami viDi talapai nunnaTlu
vasiyincha valadA Sri vallabhu meedaTanu ||
Children are eager to have milk from mothers' breasts. In the same way should we not be devoted to Lord Govinda. A traveller keeps his things on his head carefully. Should not a person keep Venkatesa in his mind carefully?
C 3 neppuna dhanavantuDu nidhi gAchi nunDinaTlu
tappaka Sri vEnkaTESu tagula vaddA
appanamaina bhrama AlajAlakunnaTlu
ippuDE vunDa valadA eetani meedaTanu ||
A rich person keeps his treasure securely in his house. Should he not be attached to the bestower of wealth, Venkateswara, in the same manner. People live in delusion. Why don't they keep him in their mind?.
