1. Mother Annapurna is bestower of perpetual happiness. She makes us fearless. She is ocean of beauty. She annihilates the most frightful sins. She is Maheswari who glorified her Himalayan lineage. She is the queen of Kasi. Oh Mother Annapurna, please bestow me alms, your grace and support.


2. She is adorned with a variety of gems. Her costume is golden. Beautiful pearl garland hangs on her bosom. She is the enchanting queen of Kasi with perfume of Kashmir. Oh Mother Annapurna, please bestow me alms, your grace and support.


3. She is blissful in yoga. She is firm in protecting Dharma by destroying its enemies. She illumines the sun, fire and the moon. She is the savior of the three worlds. She bestows all sorts of prosperity. She bestows fruits of penance. She is the queen of Kasi. Oh Mother Annapurna, bestow me alms, your grace and support.


4. She sanctified Mount Kailash and its caves. She is Gowri, Uma, Sankari and Koumari. She enlightens us the Vedas. She is the embodiment of primordial sound "OM" and other sacred syllables of mantras. She throws open the gates for salvation. She is the queen of Kasi. Oh Mother Annapurna, please bestow me alms, your grace and support.


5. She is the root cause of divine excellence visible or invisible. She holds the whole cosmos in her stomach. She is adept in differentiating various aspects of divine worldly drama. She ignites the lamp of wisdom. She is the queen of Kasi delighting the heart of Vishwanatha. Oh mother Annapurna, please bestow me alms, your grace and support


6. She is the Goddess of Earth and its beings. She bestows us with victory with all mercy. Her hair is long and black like the string of bow. She is eternal bestower of food and salvation. She is ever auspicious queen of Kasi. Oh mother Annapurna please bestow me alms, your grace and support.


7. She is described by all the letters from "a" to "ksha" of alphabet. She is Sankari the beloved cosort of Siva. She is Tripurasundari at Kashmir. She is three eyed consort of Kasi Vishweshwara. She is Sridhari. Only, she can open the doors of heaven. She is the queen of Kasi. Oh Mother Annapurna please bestow me alms, your grace and support.


8. She is devi who adorns variety of gems. She is beautiful Dakshayani bestowing sweet milk. She is affectionate and auspicious Maheshwari. She fulfils wishes of devotees. Her influence is always auspicious. She is queen of Kasi. Oh Mother Annapurna please bestow me alms, your grace and support.


9. Her effulgence is equal to crores of moons, suns, and fire Gods put together. She adorns crescent moon. Her beautiful lips are red like "Bimba" fruits. Her ear hangings have the radience of sun, moon and fires. She is Eshwari shining like sun and moon. She holds garland of beads, sacred book , noose, and goad. She is the queen of Kasi. Oh Mother Annapurna, please bestow me alms, your grace and support.


10. She is strong and mighty. She is ocean of compassion. She is indeed bestower of emancipation. She is bestower of eternal happiness. She is the consort of Vishweshwara. She is known for her dexterity. She bestows serenity. She is queen of Kasi. Oh Mother Annapurna, please bestow me alms, grace and support.


Oh Mother Annapurna, your granary is ever full. Sankara is your life partner. Oh Mother Parvati bestow me wisdom to be free from wordly bonds. Parvati is my mother, Maheshwara is my father and Siva's devotees are my relatives in my country and in all"Lokas".
