P abhayAmbA nAyaka harisAyaka
Atmarupa prakASaka avava ||
Oh Lord of Abhayamba, you shine in our conscience. Maha Vishnu helped you. Please protect me.
A.P. ubhayAtmaka prapancha prakASa
dheenkAra svarupAvakASaka
Subhakara kAvEree teera sthita
sundara gouree mayoora nAdha ||
He is the Supreme Soul reflecting in our conscience. He is embodiment of wisdom. He bestows prosperity. Beautiful Gouri is his consort. He is Mayuranadha gracing on the bank of Kaveri.

nAdabindu kaLA roopAspada
AgamAdi sannuta pallava pada
Ananda bhairaviyuta pada
bhOga mOksha vitaraNa dhureeNatara
bhoosurAdi samsEvita Sankara

tApatraya hara dayAsudhAkara ||
Nagalinga fulfills wishes of devotees. He is the embodiment of spiritual symbols namely Nada, Bindu and Kala. The Vedas extol his greatness. His lotus feet are praised in Ananda bhairavi Ragam. He is expert in bestowing prosperity and salvation. Learned Bhusuras worship him. Sankara is known for Supreme sacrifice. Guru Guha is his dear child. He eradicates the three kinds of afflictions. His compassion is limitless like ocean.
