He is Goddess Parvati's son. He is adored by Indra the lord of Devatas. He is adorned with gold ear-rings studded with gems. He is the creator of illusory world. He is the best Devata. He dispels delusion. He is bestower of auspiciousness.

He is known as Kartikeya and Bahuleya. He shines with the lustre of gold. Peacock is his mount. He is the essence of Vedas. He destroyed arrogant warriors. He is bestower of perfect knowledge. He is transcendental. He eradicates ignorance. He is glorious. He is obedient to Lord Siva. He dispels all afflictions. He bestows absolute bliss.
