P smarAmyaham sadA rAhum soorya chandra veekshyam vikruta dEham || I always meditate upon Rahu Graha (ascending node of moon). The Sun and the Moon look at him. His body is deformed.
A.P. surAsuram rOga haram sarpAdi bheeti haram
SoorpAsana sukhakaram SoolAyudha dhara karam ||
He is both celestial and demonish. He cures diseases. He eradicates fear from serpents and other poisonous creatures. Surpasana is his comfortable seat. He wields trident.
C karALa vadanam kaThinam kayAnArNa karuNArdra pAngam
chaturbhujam khaDga khTAdi dharam
charmAdi neela vastram gOmEdhakAbharaNam
Sani Sukra mitra guru guha santOsha karaNam ||
His face is fierce. He is tough natured. He is pleased by Kayanarna Mantra. He is compassionate. He wields sword, armour and other weapons in his four hands. His dress is blue. His ornaments are studded with Gomedha gem (Cats' eye). Saturn and Venus are friendly to him. He makes Guru Guha happy.
