P abhayAmbA nAyaka harisAyaka
Atmaroopa prakASaka avAya ||
Oh Lord Siva the consort of Abhayamba, Maha Vishnu became your arrow while killing Tripurasura. You illuminate inner self. Please protect me.
A.P. ubhayAtmaka prapancha prakASa
dheenkAra svaroopAvakASaka
Subhakara kAvEreeteera sthita
sundara gauree mAyooranADha ||
He illuminates all to percieve inner-self and supreme self also. He causes auspiciousness. He dwells on the bank of river Kaveri. He is handsome lord of Goddess Gauri.

Siva took Naga Linga form to fulfill the wish of devotees. He is personification of "Nada,Bindu and Kala". Vedas and other scriptures extoll his glory. He grants happiness in life and also salvation. Learned people adore him. Guha is the son of Sankara known as king of sacrifice Tyagaraja. He eradicates all three types of afflictions. His compassion is infinite.
