indra yAga - kAmbhOji - aTa

indrayAga samrambham nandAdeenAm vilOkya saha
aiSwaryam khyApayan sweeyam nanda mAhEdamachyutaha||

Nanda the chief of cowherd community and all cowherds were making grand preparations to perform a Yagam to propitiate Indra. Sri Krishna dissuaded them and proclaimed his divinity.
P indrayAga samArambha sambhrama mihatu mudhAmanyE|| Krishna said " I consider that these grand preparations for performing Indra Yaga are futile.
A.P. chandra ravi pAvaka mukha suravara parigaNita vibhutirayam hitAta || The Sun, the moon, the fire and other gods are only different manifestations of the Supreme Lord Vishnu.
C 1 sakalalOka janakam sakalAgama
sambOdhita mahimAnamanindram
prakaTita jagadanDakOti vadanamiha
sAkshAdEvavihAya mahEndram ||
Worship Sri Maha Vishnu leaving away Mahendra. Vishnu is the creator of all lokas. He is root cause of Vedas. He is the Supreme lord of all Devatas. He is the one who has shown entire cosmos in his mouth.
C 2 vana charAhi vayam vana parvata
vardhita bhuvi vanamEta dadhunA
anupamAnna rasAdibhi rachalEndra
manupama mArAdhayAmOvi ||
We are natives of forests consisting of lakes and mountains. We shall offer delicious dishes, rice, juices and other things to Lord Sriman Narayana and worship him.
C 3 giri vana saridamara nara khagAdishu
paripurNa bOdha rasamAgama viditam
harimiha gOvardhana giri varayuta
machyutamEva bhajAmOniratam ||
The Vedas proclaimed that Sriman Narayana is all pervading and so is in the form of mountains, rivers, forests, Devas, men, birds and all creatures on the earth. So propitiate Lord Narayana in the holy Govardhana mountain and worship.
C 4 nanda nandana geeta midam bhuvi
nandagOpa hitam muhuradhunA
nanda yOgi vichintita manu Siva
nArAyaNa teerdha krutamiti vidhina ||
Sri Krishna preached these benificial words for the welfare of Nanda community. Siva Narayana teerdha rendered this verse with absolute faith in Sastras contemplated by great sages.
