sahachari samarasa - kAmbhOji - Adi

Slokam:
moortA moortE yadanuvitatE mAyayA yasya roopE
satyachchE tyubhayarasa yityAgamOktO ya AtmA
nEtityEvam yadavadhi jagadbAdhyate yasya drushTyA
sarvOtkrushTam tamiha mrugayamtyAha gOpee mukundam ||
Meaning:
Due to Maya the Supreme Soul takes visible form (water,fire,earth) and is also formless(sky,air). Vedas proclaim 'sat' (visible),and 'tyat'(invisible). Eswara manifests with both 'Rasas'(quintessence). Scriptures also proclaimed "neti" (not this) concept to elucidate the nature of Supreme Soul. Gopikas are in search of Sri Krishna the Supreme Soul.

P sahachari samarasa miha mrugayantE || Oh friend, Yogis try to explore the nature of Supreme Lord.
A.P. sajjana sangaratA munayO bhuvi nigama SirassukhadantE || Sages, Vedantis and devotees are trying to understand Sri Krishna the embodiment of Supreme bliss.
C 1 giri tarusAgara sarida parAtmatayA sati bhAti mukundam
sura nara mruga khaga roopatayApi vibhAti chiram sukhakandam ||
Mukunda the bestower of salvation is showing his resplendence in dynamic and static forms of creation namely mountains,rivers,trees,birds,animals and everything visible and invisible.He alone is the source of Supreme bliss.
C2,C3 iha madhu mAdhava mukhartu vatsara roopatayApi vibhAti
dinakara tAra niSAkara pAvaka bhoojala bhAvamupaiti||
gagana maru dvividhAtmatayApi parAtmani sarvadrugamsE
ahamahamityanubhooti viSEshaNa bhoota tayAnubhavAmSE ||
he shines in all months, years, seasons and in sun,moon , fire, earth and water eternally.
He is the same Self manifesting as sky and wind. He is Supreme witness of every object and experience. He is the embodiment of Supreme self.
C4,C5 idamiha druSyamadruSyatayA tmani bhAsayati svavibhAtE
apahata SOkabhayE gaganOpama dEhatayAkhila bhootE||
jagadupamardita mAgamabhAga vichAra dhiyA punarEtam
chiramavivEka samarpita mAtma niyat rajanai ranubhootam ||
He is all pervading like space. He is self effulgent. He may be invisible but there is nothing without his resolve.
He can not be recognised easily because of his infinite nature. Unless one contemplates with purity of thought and action he can not be realised or experienced.
C6,C7 dhana paSu putra kaLatra phalAni yadardhatayA bhuvi santi
svayamaparOkshataya sakalasya mahat yupalabdha ribhAti||
sakala jaganmadhuni svaya mavyaya bOdhatayA suvibhAtE
amrutartE jagati vyayanmEti sadAtmatayA pyanubhootE ||
Wealth, animalas, wife, children and any possession are earthly. They are visible only because of divine resplendance of Supreme Self.
Supreme Lord shines clearly through his immutable nature. He is bestower of happiness to all 'Lokas'. Whole creation may vanish but he remais eternal.
C8,C9 vraja yuvateejana vallabha bhAva mupEyushi nava jaladAbhE
navarasa SAlini Subha vanamAlini kAmini kanaka latAbhE||
muraripu bhAva rasAbhinivESa janAntara bhooshaNa bhootam
adhigata bOdha nidAnamidam SivanArAyaNa yati geetam ||
Oh friend shining like golden creeper , Krishna our beloved lord shining like water bearing cloud is always with us.
This song is the essence of Sri Krishna's glory. It is the most precious ornament composed by ascetic Narayana Teerdha with utmost devotion to the embodiment of Supreme bliss.
