kamsAsura - sAranga - Adi

Slokam:
gruheetavidyO bhagavan balarAma sahAyavAn
gurum prasAdya vidhinA sa tasthau brahma chAribhihi ||
Meaning:
Sri Krishna along with Balarama and other students learnt many Sastras and subjects at Guru Sandeepani Asramam.

P kamsAsura samharaNa kalaya
krishNa samsAra sindhu tAraNa ||
Krishna killed demon Kamsa. He enables us cross the fascinating worldly ocean.
A.P. pumsA mananya purANa purushOttama
hamsa yateeSvara Samsita charaNa ||
Krishna is unique and primordial deity. Yogis and ascetics worship his lotus feet.
C 1 panchajanAsura pATana kalita Sri
pAnchajanya dara paTutara nAda
vAnchita guru putra jeevana kAraNa
manjula mauktika mAdhava dhruta vEda ||
He destroyed demon Panchajana and obtained the most powerful conch "Panchajanya". He fulfilled the wish of his Guru Sandeepani by restoring life to his dead son. Oh Madhava,, pearl ornaments on you are beautiful on you. You restored Vedas from the sea.
C 2 vAchAmagOchara vasudEva tanaya
sadAchAra pAlaka danujAntaka
hE chAru kamala vilOchana bhava pASa
mOchana SatakOTi manmadha mOhana ||
His glory can not be comprehended by words. He is protector of Dharma. He is destroyer of demons. Oh Lord, your eyes are beautiful like lotus. You severe worldly attachments. Your beauty excelling the beauty of crores of Manmadhas charms all.
C 3 vArija sambhava vandita pAdAbja
bhoori dayArasa bhuvana nAdha
nArAyaNa teerdha nata charaNAmbuja
nAnAvidha leelA vinOda ||
Lotus-born Brahma worships his feet. His compassion is profuse. Sri Krishna's sports are mysterious and delightful. Narayana Teerdha worships his lotus feet.
