akroorO gamayati - kaLyANi - Adi

Slokam:
vyateetAyAm sa tadrAtrau sabalam balinAm balam
ArOpya syandanE toorNa makroorOSvAnachOdayat
syandanE vasati nandanandanE chandramanDala samAnanE ghanE
mandahAsa ramaNeeya chandrikAssundaram jagurimAhi gOpikAh ||
Meaning:
Early in the morning Krishna and Balarama were taken to Madhura on the chariot of Akroora. On seeing Krishna seated on chariot, beautiful Gopikas with gentle smile on their faces sang like this.

P akroorO gamayati madhurA machyuta miha sakhi sutarAm || Oh friend, Akroora is taking away handsome Krishna from us to Madhura.
A.P. sakroorO mAyAvee tasya sAhasamadha sakhi paSya || Though his name is Akroora, meaning not cruel, he has the audacity to take away Krishna from us. Please see.
C 1 sabalam gOpeejana hrudayAmbuja savitAram sakhi sahasA
kabaLita navaneetam kalitAgama kAraNa masura vidAraNa meeSam ||
Sri Krishna delights the lotus like hearts of Gopikas just as the Sun delights lotuses. He swallowed butter. He is the origin of Vedas. He annihilated demons. He is supreme Lord.
C 2 brundAvana chandramasam nijajana chandana mindrAdi nutam
nanda nandana mAnandita vidhi mukha brunda maninditasyandana niyatam ||
He is like wish fulfilling divine 'Parijata' tree. He soothes lotus like hearts of Gopikas like cool sandal wood paste . Indra and other Devatas worship him.
C 3 sansArArNava tAraka vijaya gOpAlaka makhilaika gurum
kamsaripum Siva nArAyaNa teerdha kalita midam kavi hrudaya vihAram ||
He is supreme Guru. He is emancipator of those who meditate upon him always. Though Akroora knows that Krishna is foe of Kamsa, he is taking him to Madhura. Siva Narayana Teerdha composes this song praising Krishna who strolls in the hearts of poets.
