bhArati dEhi sadA kuSalam bhuvanESwari||
Oh Goddess of the universe, your compassionate glances bestow happiness. Oh Goddess Bharati, bless me with happiness always.
C 1 sOmabimba madahara sumukhi bhakta janAkhila
kAmitadAna nirate kAnta kunda danti
bheemAnantAjNAna timira bhEdana mihirAyitE
mAmaka hrudi vihAra mAnyaguNavAsE
sAmaja pungava chArugatE sura
sAdhyanutE vimale varadE bhuvanESwari ||
Oh Bhuvaneswari, you make the moon humble in beauty. Your visage is auspicious. You always fulfill wishes of devotees. Your teeth shine like jasmine buds. You remove arrogance just like the Sun dispels darkness . Please stroll in my heart. You are abode of virtues. Your gait is majestic like king elephant's walk. Celestials adore you. You are unblemished bestower.

mAra SarAsana ruchi chOrachilli kAntE
sArasakruta nilayE jambunada bhooshE
nAradAdi muni nuta nAma samudAyE
bhoori manOjNa karAnchita veeNA
pustaka bhAsini chAruhAsE bhuvanESwari ||
Oh Mother, your tresses are black like dark clouds. Your eyes are blue like saphire. Your eye-brows resemble Manmadha's bow. Your abode is lotus. You are adorned with gold ornaments. Narada and other sages chant your holy names. You look gorgeous with Vina and Vedas in your hands. Your smile is charming.

veetapApajana geya vibhavE vidyAroopE
chAtakO jaladamiva sAdara mASrayAmi tvam
preetim mayi kuru lOkamAtarai nityam
dhootamalam kuru mAm sadayE pari
shita soorigaNE SubhadE bhuvanESwari ||
Oh Goddess of the universe, You destroyed the wicked sons of Diti. You make Lord Padmanabha happy. People who got rid off sins sing your praise. You are splendid. You are embodiment of erudition. I seek refuge in you like a Chataka bird yearns for water-bearing clouds. Oh Mother, make me pious and happy. You are the protector of the learned. Oh Bhuvaneswari, kindly bestow happiness.
