Tyagaraja asks Rama whether he forgot all His great deeds. He gives examples of Sugreeva, Vibheeshana and Anjaneya, whom Rama helped and requests Rama to bless him also.

P	chEsina della marachitivO O rAma rAma ||	Have you forgotten what all you did, O Rama
AP	Asa konnaTTi nannala inchuTaku munnu ||	I have hope in you only, Please help me.
C	Alu neekaina bhaktu rAlO yanuchu nADu prAlu mAlaka ravi bAluni chelimiyu ||	You became a friend of Sugreeva (Ravibala) who helped in the restoration of your devoted wife Sita.
C	bhAsha tappakanu vibhEshaNuni korakAdi sEshuDagu tammuni pOshimchu mani rAju ||	You instructed Lakshmana, the incarnation of Adisesha, to crown Vibheeshana as the King of Lanka.
C	rAma sree thyAgarAja prEmAvatAra seeta bhAma mATalu telpu bheemAnjanEyu brahma ||	You blessed Anjaneya, who conveyed to you the words of Sita. You bestowed him the status of Brahma. O Rama, your incarnation is dear to Tyagaraja.

This Kruti is a kind of prayer called ninda Stuti (ironical praise). Tyagaraja asks Rama whether there is pleasure in breaking promises and disappointing him?

P	chAla kalla lADu konna soukhya mEmirA ||	What is the pleasure in uttering lies?
AP	kAlamu pOnu mATa niluchunu ||	Time flees but words causing pain remain forever, Oh Kalyana Rama.
C	talli tandri nEnunDa takkina bhaya mElarA yani palu mAru neevennO bAsalu chEsi ilalO sari vArala lO ententO brOchu chunDi pe ddala tO balki meppinchi tyAga rAjunitO ||	You promised to protect us like father and mother from all fears. You saved many in distress and all elders are pleased with your deeds. But why do you belie the hopes of Tyagaraja.

In this Keertana Tyagaraja expresses that the path of devotion to Rama is the best path to attain supreme bliss. He asks, "why should anyone choose bylanes when there is an excellent high way?"

P	chakkani rAja mArgamu lunDaga sandula doora nElE O manasA ||	When there is an excellent king's way, why do you go on bylanes? Oh my heart.
AP	chikkani pAlu meegaDa lunDaga cheeyanu gangA sAgara mElE ||	When there is pure milk and cream, why do you go for the most abhorred liquor?
C	kanTiki sundara taramagu roopamE , mu kkanTiki nOTa chelagE nAmamE tyAga rA jinTanE bAga nelakonnAdi daivamE iTu vanTi sree sAketa rAmuni bhakti yanE ||	He has the most beautiful appearence. His name is chanted by Siva the three eyed. He is the God that is worshipped at Tyagaraja's home. Devotion to this kind of Saketa Rama is the right path, Oh my heart.
