Tyagaraja, in this kruti, requests Rama to explain to him how he is adored by Sita and Lakshmana who stand close to him.

P prakkala nilAbaDi kolichE muchchaTa
bAgA telpa rAdA ||
The way you are adored by those standing by your side is interesting. Why don't you tell me about that?
AP chukkala rAyuni gEru mOmu gala
sudati seetamma soumitri rAmuni kiru ||
Beautiful Sita with her moon like face and Lakshmana are by your side.
C tanuvuchE vandana monarinchu chunnArA
chanuvuna rAma keertana sEyu chunnara
mansuna dalachi maimarachi yunnArA
nenarunchi tyAgarAjunitO hari hari mee kiru ||
I have been bowing to you and affectionately singing your praise.
I forget myself when I think of you.
Oh hari, be kind to Tyagaraja.

In this kriti Tyagaraja implores Rama to speak with him without further delay. And also says that he was preached by his parents to be devoted to Rama only.

P paluka vEmi nA daivamA parulu navvEdi nyAyamA || Why don't you speak with me, my lord.
Is it fair for you to make me laughing stock of society?
AP aluga kAraNa mEmi rAma nee
vADinchinatlu ADina nAtO ||
what is the reason for your sulking when I acted as you wanted me to.
C talli tanDri bhakti nosagi rakshimchiri
takkina vAralentO himsinchiri
telisi yoora kundEdi ennALLurA
dEvAdidEva tyAgarajunitO ||
My parents protected me by preaching devotion to god but all others caused me pain. How long can I keep quite? Oh Lord of the Lords, why don't you speak with TyAgarAja

paTTi viDuva rAdu- manjari- Adi

In this keertana, Tyagaraja requests Rama to protect him by holding his hand firmly and also says that Rama was his mentor and master from his childhood onwards.

P paTTi viDuva rAdu nA cheyi paTTi viDuva rAdu || Dont leave me after clasping my hand.
AP puTTina nADE nija bhaktini meDa gaTTi guTTu chedaraka cheyi|| You initiated me as your humble devotee from my very birth, and you protected me unfailingly.
C nityA nityamulanu bOdhinchi
krutyA krutyamulanu telipinchi
pratyEkuDu nee vani kani pinchi
bhrutyu Daina tyAgarAju cheyi ||
You preached me what is temporal and what is eternal in this world. You enlightened me of duties and misdeeds. You revealed yourself to me as the Supreme Lord. Tyagaraja is your humble servant.
