AP	gitAdyAdhyakhilOpanishad sArabhuta jeevan muktuDouTaku ||	Oh Rama,you are the quintessence of Gita and all Upanishads. To attain emancipation in one's life time through music,he should be destined for it.
C 1	AkASA Sariramu brahmamanE AtmArAmuni tA sari joochuchu lokAdulu chinmaya manE suswara lOluDou tyAgarAja sannuta ||	Perceiving that the sky is the body of the Supreme Soul, believing that one's self as part of the Supreme Self, comprehending that the whole cosmos is the manifestation of the Supreme Self and immersing oneself in 'Nadam'of perfect 'swaras' bestow emancipation during one's own life time. P	sundara tara dEham vandEham rAmam ||	I bow to Sri Rama who has the most beautiful body.
AP	kundaradana mApta kumuda SaSAnkam kandarpa SatakOTi kAnti mati nishkaLankam ||	His teeth are like jasmine buds.He is dear to all like the moon which is dear to Kaluva flowers(water lily). He shines like a million Manmadhas. He is unblemished.
C 1	patita jana pAvanam pari pAlita bhuvanam Sruti nikara sadanam Subhakara vadanam yativara jivanam ibharAja pAlanam ditija mada damanam deena janAvanam ||	He is the redeemer of sinners and rules all lokas. He is the excellent abode for Vedas. His face is auspicious.He is the prop for pious hermits. He is the protector of the king of elephants. He is the destroyer of arrogance of Rakshasas and is the shelter for hapless.
C 2	nava durva daLa neelam nanditAmara jAlam avanata sura pAlam adbhuta leelam bhava bhaya haraNa kAlam bhakta jana vatsalam Sivamadwaita mamalam SrimadkanakAbha chElam ||	He is bluish like tender grass blades.He makes Devatas happy. Indra the lord of Devatas bow to him. His deeds are awesome.He dispels worldly fears like Yama Dharmaraja. He is dear to devotees and bestows happiness.He is unique and unblemished.He shines in golden costume.
C 3	Agama sanchAram akhila lOkAdhAram vAgAdhipa kumAram vara veera veeram ragAdi samhAram rAghava mudAram tyAgarAja hrutsanchAram kAruNya pArAvAram ||	He is the promoter of scriptures.He is the fulcrum of the universe. Brahma the lord of Saraswati, is his son.He is the hero of the heroes. He snaps worldly attachments.He is generous.He is ocean of compassion dwelling in the heart of Tyagaraja.

In this Kruti Tyagaraja expresses his contentment in listening to nectar-like stories of Rama and his desire to be in the company of Rama's devotees only.

P	sudhA mAdhurya bhAshaNa sudhAkarAnana ||	Oh Rama,your talk is sweet like nectar and your face is beautiful like the moon.
AP	kadhAmrutamu chE bahu kAlamu A kali deeri yunnAnu brOvumu ||	I've been listening to your glorious stories for a long time and my hunger is satiated.Please protect me.
C	DurAtmulagu bhoo kirAtakula jE ra rAdanuchu sundarAkAra nee pArAyaNula chelimi rA gOru tyA ga rAja nuta Oh parAtpara suguNa ||	I don't want to be near the wicked people.Oh beautiful Rama, I wish to spend my time in the company of your devotees. Oh Rama,you are full of virtues.You are transcendental. Tyagaraja worships you.

Tyagaraja feels fortunate to be called by people as Rama's man.He considers that it may be due to his prayers in his previous birth or due to the grace of Sri Rama.

AP	vAtASa nArivara vAhana vArijA sanAdi vandita pada ||	Garuda the enemy of serpents is your vehicle.Brahma the lotus-seated god and other gods bow to your feet.
C 1	toli janmamulanu jEsina pujA phalamO lEka needu kaTAksha balamO nee vADanu nEnani lOkulu balkErugA dhanyuDa naitini ||	People say that you are mine.It may be due to the prayers I performed in my previous births or it may be due to the strength of your compassionate looks.Iam really fortunate.
C 2	deena lOka samrakshaka daivA dheenamugA nee rupamu nAdu mAnasAbjamuna nATi yunDagA entaTi bhAgya SAlinO ||	You are the savior of the miserable lot. By your grace,your divine form is deeply rooted in my lotus like heart.How fortunate I am!
