In this kruti Tyagaraja complains that his deity Rama should have advised him affectionately when he was on wrong path.

O Rama,don't you have that much interest in me as to advise me that I am not on the right path.
AP eTu lOrtunu nE daya jooDa vayya E vElpu chEyu chelamO telisi || How can I endure? please pity me. You know well which god misdirected me.

In this kruti Tyagaraja reminds Rama that he was his devotee from his childhood onwards. He doubts whether Rama saves him or abandons.

entO nannu pAlanamu chEtunani ||
You took all kinds of services from me. I hoped that you would protect me well.
C iTTi vELa nannu viDanADadamanO Elu kondunani enchi nAvO teliya
brOvavO suguNa vAri nidhi goppa daivamA tyAgarAjanutu ||
At this time I don't know whether you want to abandon me or choose to protect me.O Rama the ocean of virtues, save me.You are the great God worshipped by Tyagaraja.

In this kruti Tyagaraja desparately begs his deity Sri Rama to protect him just as he rescued Prahlada.

This is a song from 'Nauka charitam'.Tyagaraja describes the beauty of Yamuna river and her surroundings when Gopikas were sailing with their beloved Krishna.

Dear friends,look at the beauty of Yamuna river joyfully.

The bees are humming on red lotuses. The sand dunes are dazzling and the waves are sparkling in sapphire blue.

The stepping stones are shining like gems and the little waves of water are dancing. Goddess Yamuna is splendid with beautiful swans and their musical sounds.

O maids,here are bushes full of dates sweet as honey. Here are grape creepers wherein parrot pairs are perching.

The forest is blooming with a variety of flowers intoxicating the Gopikas with amorous desires. The cuckoos are singing melodiously and Manmadha is shooting floral darts.The breeze is gentle,fragrant and refreshing.It is the most opportune time to be close to their beloved Krishna. O girls with moon-like faces,listen to the sweet song on Krishna,dear to Tyagaraja.
