P	proddu poyyEni SrirAmuni pooni bhajimpavE manasA ||	Oh my mind, time is fleeing away. Begin to chant the praise of Lord Srirama.
AP	niddura chEta konnALLu vishaya buddhula chEta konnALLu Oh manasA ||	Oh my mind, several days are passing away in sleep and in pursuit of material happiness.
C 1	prodduna lEchi tritApamulanu narula pogaDi pogaDi konnALLu vaTTi eddureeti kanna tAvuna bhujiyinchi yEmi teliyaka konnALu mudduga tOchE bhava sAgaramuna munigi tEluchu konnALLu paddumAlina pAmara janulatO verri paluku lADuchu konnALLu Oh manasA ||	The day starts with all sorts of troubles due to worldly problems. Several days are lost in praising unworthy people to fulfill wants. Days pass away in eating like a bull under parental care ignorantly.. The ocean of worldly life becomes very dear to heart. Many days pass away in idle talk with foolish people.
C 2	mudamuna tana dhana yAgAramula joochi madamu chEta konnALLu andu chedarina yanta SOkArNava gatuDai jAli chenduTanu konnALLu edaTi pachcha joochi tALa lEka tAnilanu tiruguTa konnALLu mudi madi tappina vruddhu tanamuna mundu venuka teliyakanE konnALLu ||	Some days you gloat over possession of wealth, power and youth. As soon as they wear out , you lament deplorably. Some days you are jealous of others' prosperity. During old age you loose balance of mind and body.
C 3	yAgAdi karmamulanu sEyavalenani yalasaTa chEta konnALLu andu rAga lObhamulatO aparAdhamulachE rAjasamuna konnALLu bAguga nAmakirtanamulu sEyuTE bhAgyamanaka konnALLu tyAgarAja nutuDaina SrirAmuni tatvamu teliyakanE konnALLu ||	Some days pass away with good intention of performing Yajnas and rituals. Some days pass away in false attachments, show and miserliness. But mind never thinks that singing the praise of Srirama is real fortune. Oh mind, you remain ignorant of Srirama's character and philosophy. Tyagaraja worships him.

P	rAmAbhirAma ramaNeeya nAma sAmaja ripu bheema sAkEta dhAma ||	Oh most beautiful Rama, your name and fame are beautiful. You are mighty like a lion, the enemy of elephant. Your abode is at Saketa.
C1	vanaja lOchana neevu valasi yalasti nee manasuna daya lEdu mallADi phalamEmi ||	Oh Lord, your eyes are beautiful like lotus petals. I am exausted in my eagerness to obtain your grace. You have no compassion in your heart. What is the use of debating with you ?
C 2	manasuna cheli neeke marulu konnadi gAni chanuvuna chEyi baTTi samrakshinchavu ||	Your beloved consort is pining in love for you.. Why don't you hold her hand and protect ?.
C 3	kamaniyamagu pAnpu gAvinchiti nandu ramiyimpakanE nannu rachcha jEsEvu ||	I arranged a beautiful bed for you. Why don't you relax comfortably? Why do you throw me in turmoil?
C 4, C5,C6	kOri kOri ninnu kolavaga neeku dAri vErEyani dhAta vrAtEmO || dikku neevani nEnu dina dinamunu namma ekkutakkuvalandu enasE guNamEmO || neekE daya buTTi neevu brOvavale rAkEndu mukha Sri tyAgarAja rakshaka Sri ||	I've been worshipping you with intense desire. Did Brahma write against my wish ? I absolutely believed that you are my ultimate refuge. Perhaps you are showing discrimination . I understand that you show pity at your pleasure. Oh Rama, your face is beautiful like full moon. You are savior of Tyagaraja.

P	baDalika deera pavvaLinchE ||	Oh Rama, please recline and get rid off your fatigue.
AP	saDalani duritamulanu tega gOsi sArva bhouma sAkEta rAma ||	Oh Rama, you cut asunder worst sins.
C 1	pankajAsanuni paritApamu gani pankajApta kulapati vai velasi pankajAkshitO vanamuna kEgi jinkanu vadhi yinchi ||	Oh Rama, you dispelled Brahma's anguish by descending on the earth in Sun Dynasty. You went on exile to forest with Sita whose eyes are like lotus petals. You killed demon Maricha who came in the disguise of deer.
C 2	manku rAvaNuni madamu naNachi niSSankuDou vibhishaNuniki bangAru lanka nosangi surala brOchina nishkaLanka tyAgarAja nuta rAma ||	You dispelled the arrogance of wicked Ravana. You gifted rich Lanka kingdom to faithful Vibhishana. You are protector of Devatas. You are unblemished. Oh Rama, Tyagaraja worships you.
