AP rAmadAsu valenaitE sitAbhAma mandalinchu neetO tana||kE || If I am a great devotee like Ramadasu, your consort Sita would have chided you.
C daTTigaTTi karamuna SarachApamu
baTTi moolabalamunu rAvaNu tala
goTTi nilva nAvELa trimurtulu kOri nutimpagA
naTTi vAri keduru balki rAjuku
paTTi yanaga neeku nAdupai daya
buTTa kAraNambEmi delase vara
bhOgi Sayana tyAgarAja nuta tana ||kE||
Oh Srirama, you wielded Kodanda bow in your hand majestically and severed Ravana's heads and destroyed his total strength. The trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara were amazed at it and adored you. I ignored other deities and worshipped you as my favorite deity. But now I understand that you are not still happy with me. You recline on Adisesha. Tyagaraja worships you.

P tulasee daLamulachE santOshamugA pujintu || I worship Srirama, happily with sacred Tulasi leaves.
AP palumAru chirakAlamu paramAtmuni pAdamulanu || I worship the feet of the transcendental lord Rama a number of times.
C saraseeruha punnAga champaka pATala kuravaka
karaveera mallikA sugandha rAja sumamula
dharanivi yoka paryAyamu dharmAtmuni sAkEta
puravAsuni SrirAmuni vara tyAgarAja nutuni ||
I worship him with a variety of flowers like lotus, punnaga, champaka, patala, kuravaka, karaveera and jasmines. I worship Rama who is embodiment of Dharma and who dwells in Ayodhya with Tulasi leaves again and again.

nitya roopa - kApi - roopaka

P nitya roopa evari pAnDityamEmi niluchunurA || Oh eternal lord Rama, whose power or erudition can stand before your inestimable prowess.
AP satyamaina AjNameera sAmardhyamu galadA || Is there any power that can transgress your supreme ability to maintain the meticulous order of the universe ?.
C bhAnu pagalu rEyi ratnasAnu juTTadA
pooni SEshuDamita bhAra bhumi mOyaDA
veenulandu kAsipati nee nAmamu balkaDA
mAni tyAgarAja vinuta mahimAspadamagu nee mundu ||
Is not the Sun orbiting day and night precisely around the "Meru" mountain?. Is not Adisesha carrying steadfastly the limitless weight of the earth ? Does not Siva the lord of Kasi whisper your sacred name called "Taraka Mantra" in the ears of devotees in their last moments of life ?. Oh Lord Rama, all are insignificant before your inestimable glory. Tyagaraja worships you.
