You have divine radiance. Would I be satisfied if I don't offer rice 'payasam' thrice a day followed by tasty 'Tamboolam'. Would I be comfortable if I don't stand by your side holding a gem-studded bowl?.
C 2	anudinamu needu pAdAbjamula nottuchunu kanakamayamou suraTi karamuniDi visari ghanamaina phaNitalpamuna nunchi pADuchunu kanulAra sEvinchi kAlamula gaDapakanu ||	Daily I comfort your lotus feet and wave golden fan. I'll arrange a grand bed of Sesha serpent for you and sing sweetly. I'll spend time performing these services whole-heartedly.
C 3	rAjAdhi rAja surarAja vanditapAda Sree jAnakeeramaNa SrungAra jaladhE rAjadharuDagu tygarAju poojituDanuchu rAjillu nee keerti rAjiga bogaDaganu ||	Oh Srirama the king of kings, Devendra the lord of Devatas bows to you humbly. You are the lord of Janaki. You are ocean of love and beauty. Tyagaraja worships you. Would I be satisfied without singing your glory?.

P	tulasi jagajjananee duritApa hAriNee ||	Oh Mother Tulasi , you are the mother of all 'lokas'. You are destroyer of sins.
AP	nilavaramagu neesari vElpulu lEraTa brOvumikanu ||	In fact no other deity is equal to you. Please protect me.
C	charaNa yugambulu nadulaku parama vaikunThamaTa saraseeruhAkshi nee madhyamu sakala suravAsamaTa Siramuna naigama kOTulu chelagu chunnAraTa sarasa tyAgarAjAdi vara bhaktulu pADEraTa ||	Your sacred feet (roots) are the source and Vaikuntham for all rivers. Your eyes are beautiful like lotus. You are the abode for all Devatas. Countless scriptures and Vedas flourish on your head. Tyagaraja and other devotees sing of your powers and greatness.

P	rAma bANa trANa Saurya mEmani pogaDudurA Oh manasA ||	Oh my mind, how can I adequately describe the marvellous powers and the emancipating power of Rama's unique bow 'Kodandam'.
AP	bhAmakAsapaDu rAvaNu moola balamula nElagoola jEyu ||	Rama's bow Kodanda destroyed the root strength of demon Ravana who sinfully desired pious lady Sita.
C	tammuDu baDalina vELa suraripu temmani chakkera bancheeyaga gani lemmanuchunu indrAdi balku samayammani lEvagA sammatitO nilabaDi kOdanDapu jyA ghOshamu laSanula jEsi tA nemmadigala tODunu joochenurA nijamaina tyAgarAja nutuDagu ||	When Lakshmana became unconcious in the battle, Ravana distributed sweets. His son Indrajit alerted his army and attacked. Sri Rama got furious at it and just twanged the string of Kodanda. Amazingly its thundering noise scattered away the enemy's army. Lakshmana regained consciousness making all happy. Kodandarama is truly Tyagaraja's deity.
