Your sacred feet (roots) are the source and Vaikuntham for all rivers. Your eyes are beautiful like lotus. You are the abode for all Devatas. Countless scriptures and Vedas flourish on your head. Tyagaraja and other devotees sing of your powers and greatness.

Oh my mind, how can I adequately describe the marvellous powers and the emancipating power of Rama's unique bow 'Kodandam'.

Rama's bow Kodanda destroyed the root strength of demon Ravana who sinfully desired pious lady Sita.

When Lakshmana became unconcious in the battle, Ravana distributed sweets. His son Indrajit alerted his army and attacked. Sri Rama got furious at it and just twanged the string of Kodanda. Amazingly its thundering noise scattered away the enemy's army. Lakshmana regained consciousness making all happy. Kodandarama is truly Tyagaraja's deity.
