pAvanASrita chintAmaNE ||
Oh Kodanda Rama who wields bow, please protect me. You are like wish-fulfilling "chintamani" gem for pious devotees.
A.P. sarasija bhavanuta charaNa sarOja
sAkEta sadana daSaradha tanooja ||
Lotus-borne Brahma worships your feet. You are King Dasaradha's son dwelling in Ayodhya.
C 1 SEshAdhipa vara bhushaNa vAgviSEsha kruta
nAma ghOsha janita sam
tOsha ravija sambhAshaNa natajana pOshaNa
Subhakara vEsha nirdOsha ||
Sankara whose ornaments are serpents loudly chants your glory and makes you happy. You talked to Sugriva as a friend. You are protector of devotees. Your appearence is auspicious. You are unblemished.
C 2 satyasandhavara bhrutya pAlakAditya
kulOttama satya janAvana
atyanta sundara nrutyajana priya stutya
chAritra nityOtsava roopa ||
You appreciated truthful servants. You are the best among Ikshvaku kings. You are very charming. Dancers make you happy. Your glory is adored by all. Your presence is ever auspicious.
C 3 sAgara mada damana nAgari nuta charaNa
gaNapati hrudayAgAra pAlana
jAgarooka SaraNagata vatsala tyAgarAjanuta nAgari turaga ||
You subdued the pride of Samudra the king of sea. Garutmanta the enemy of serpents worships your feet. You are in Ganesa's heart. You are skillful ruler. You are merciful to those who seek for refuge. Garuda is your divine vehicle.
