You established yourself well at this holy Nagapattana. You are the eye-witness of all Lokas.

saraguna nE bayaludEri vachchi parama pAvani nee sannidhi chErina ||
Oh most pious goddess, realising that wealthy people are not capable of alleviating my afflictions, I quickly reached your divine presence.
C 2 vAridhi madi garvinchi eevasudhaku tA rAnenchi ninnu
sArekugani talavanchi yunDu dheeratanamu kalgu ninu poDagAnchina ||
The sea tried to submerge this town due to her pride. But after seeing your majestic appearence here, she bowed to you and withdrew.
C 3 kAsASalEni nAmadiki nee karuNE dhanamani palki nin
DAsatO vachchi sannidhiki nijadAsuDaina Sri tyAgarAjuniki ||
