Oh Rama, you are very pious. You are transcendental.
I yearn to worship your sacred feet. No other God
protected orthodox Brahmanas like you. Your compassion
is ocean-like.

dAnava garva vidAraNa nEnu sadA ninu vEDitirA rAma ||
|
I implicitly believed that you are embodiment of compassion
in protecting the distressed. You shattered the pride of
wicked demons. Oh Rama, I always begged for your grace.

lEkevaru bratikiri jagat
sAkshi yaina jeevanaja daLAyatAksha
tyAgarAja paksha ipu ||DE ||
|
Oh Rama, you manifested yourself as human being in this world.
No one can survive without your graceful glances. You are
the eternal witness of the universe watching with your lotus
like eyes. You are favourable to Tyagaraja.
