P daya rAnee daya rAnee dASaradhi rAma || Oh Rama the son of Dasaradha, let your grace descend on me.

talachitE mEnella pulakarinchEni rAmA||
Oh Raghuveera, is it possible for me to describe my happiness.
Oh Rama, the mere thought about you thrills my whole body.
C3,4 kanukonnAnandamai kanneeru ninDEni ||
AsinchuvEla jagamanta truNamayyEni ||
When I gaze at you, my eyes are filled with tears of joy.
When I pray to you the whole "Samsara" becomes insignificant to me like a blade of grass.
C5,6 charaNa kaugili vELa chelaga maimarachEni||
chentanunDaga nA chintalu toligEni||
When I hold your sacred feet , I forget myself and remain blissful.
When you are by my side all my worries disappear.
C 7,8,9 marma heenula gooDa karmamana nayEni ||
tanakai SrirAmAvatAra mettitivO||
nAvanTi dAsula brOva veDalitivO ||
When I have to associate with people who are ignorant of your glory, I feel that it is my fate.
I often wonder that you incarnated as Sri Rama for me.
Did you descend on the earth to protect devotees like me.

Sri tyAgarAjuni chelikADu neevE rAma ||
Oh Rama, you are primordial. You are the cause of trinity.
Oh Rama, you are the divine companion of Tyagaraja.
